FRAUDS

• Can’t really call his squad a fraud given how well this roster is built, but Boner clocks in at the #2 spot for luck factor (interestingly, he was #2 at this point last year, when will Lady Luck swing the other way?). Certainly a top 3 contender going into the playoffs, but maybe not as much of a powerhouse as that record indicates.

• While we’re at it, the entire You’re So Fat division. Perennially self-dubbed “The SEC of the DelFL” the division title this year was a vanity win – the divisions were quite well matched, and DelFL parity is high. (author’s aside: if they really wanted to congratulate themselves with difficult schedule building, it’d be the Independents of the DelFL, as ND is showing this year that watered down conference play is fairly easy, and the real challenge is playing a diverse, geographically agnostic, inherently more interesting schedule).

GOING BACK TO BACK?

• His record doesn’t show it yet, but Keith has put together the best team in the league by a fairly wide margin. He’s the only squad averaging over 500 per clip, and has scored in the top half every time out since Week 3 but one. The coast is clear to a Round 1 bye.

TEAM NOBODY WANTS TO PLAY

• Honestly, it’s Tony. May be too little too late to make the playoffs unless he runs the table and gets some luck, but this team has come on strong after a brutal start to the season. Kudos to good management and trusting that patented algorithm. The favorite for the Giorgio Cup.

• Honorable mention: Andrew. The Baby Seals are hott hott hott since that LOL, Vandy-esque 98 point effort in Week 6.

ROYALLY SCREWED

• Incredible that we’re getting a lot of repeating themes year over year. Once again, Yanni is the least lucky team through 9 weeks, a spot he occupied at this point in the 2019 season. The Lads deserve better.
