Ranking of the Week

Tony "As the sands of time trickle away, they also persistently advance without relent. The imminent conclusion of The Lips' season looms in this week's El Classico, aligning with the relentless march of the clock on the footer of the DelFL.net webpage and the lingering chronometer of inadequacy that resides within Tony's mind, both steadfastly ticking into the infinity of time. Although a glimmer of hope flickers, it carries as much weight as Trevor Lawrence's significantly sprained ankle. Time, an unstoppable force, marches on, while Tony's time within the league appears to be nearing its inevitable conclusion.

Boner's Watch of the Week

The Intern This movie was brought up by 'Tony' in the Delfl.net chat comments. It's a 2015 film starring Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro called "The Intern." When Tony suggested this movie, I immediately thought about another film, "Dirty Grandpa," which I actually enjoyed. In this one, Anne Hathaway plays a woman married to Anders Holmvick and hires Adam Demamp to be the office pervert. However, both guys aren't funny at all.

Robert De Niro's character starts working as a senior intern at the company, acting the opposite of his role in "Dirty Grandpa." He's a very uptight guy, always carrying a briefcase and looking tidy. However, not much really happens in this movie. He becomes Anne Hathaway's driver and intern but doesn't do much besides proving one route is faster than another. The main plot seems to be Anne Hathaway hiring a CEO for her company, but even that doesn't happen.

Her husband cheats on her, but nothing much comes of it, just apologies and blame-sharing. There's a moment where it seems like something might happen, but it never does. One day, De Niro gets a massage from the in-house masseuse, Rene Russo, who looks quite different than before. In the end, Anne Hathaway takes De Niro's advice, doesn't hire a CEO, doesn't break up with her husband, and comes to tell him about it. He's in the park doing Tai Chi, and they just stand there, and then the movie ends.

The movie was labeled as 'Drama/Comedy,' but it felt like nothing much happened, though the ending was somewhat funny. It's the kind of film that might make El Paso seem exciting. Overall, I'd give it a D-.
